Meenakshi Venkatesan is an accomplished a scientist with deep expertise in structural biology, drug discovery and enzymology. As Head of Protein Sciences at Dalriada Drug Discovery, she led research operations and strategic planning, advancing complex therapeutic programs while strengthening academic–industry partnerships and stakeholder engagement across diverse target classes and modalities. Beyond research, she has contributed to commercialization strategy and cross-functional leadership at a University of Toronto–incubated EdTech start-up. Meena also brings governance experience through serving on not-for-profit boards, where she provides strategic oversight for community-driven initiatives. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge (U.K.).
