PRiME was established at the University of Toronto to align research efforts in the area of Precision Medicine.
PRiME brings together multi-disciplinary talent to face and answer emerging challenges in Precision Medicine by understanding the biology of disease, creating new tools for disease diagnosis, and developing novel therapeutic strategies.

PRiME advances breakthroughs in the identification of new therapeutic targets and agents, the molecular mechanisms of disease, and the development of next-generation diagnostic technologies.

PRiME aims to provide programming for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and a cutting-edge curriculum to nurture the leading scientists and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Build a Biotech Ecosystem
Through industry partnerships and entrepreneurship, PRiME aims to mobilize the great economic potential that resides within our community to nurture the creation of a robust biotech ecosystem in Toronto and create local opportunities for our trainees post-graduation.
